A 45-inch floor-standing fountain in real kiln-fired ceramic, not resin dressed up to look like it. The turquoise glaze varies across the surface the way fired glaze does, so the piece has depth and slight irregularity that molded composite can't reproduce. At nearly four feet tall it's a statement piece rather than a garden accent.
Water bubbles up at the top, cascades through one basin, and spills into the next. Each drop makes its own pitch, which is why a tiered fountain sounds fuller than a single-basin one pushing the same volume. At 171.5 GPH the flow is steady rather than forceful, so it reads as a trickle you can talk over, not a rush you have to raise your voice against.
A warm white LED sits in each tier, catching the falling water at all three levels rather than uplighting the whole piece from below. After dark the water is what's visible, not the fountain body.
The glaze is weatherproof and won't fade or chalk the way painted resin does, so it holds its color through seasons of sun. The tradeoff is weight and fragility: it's 51.5 lbs and ceramic, so pick your spot before you fill it and treat it carefully when moving it. If you're in a hard freeze climate, plan to drain and cover it over winter.
Add water, plug it in. The UL-listed 12V submersible pump and adapter are built in, with a 6-foot cord to a standard 110V outlet. Nothing to plumb, nothing to assemble.
Moving water is what draws birds into a yard more reliably than a static bath, since they find it by sound. The tiered basins give them shallow landings at multiple heights.
