Patio Ponds

A patio pond is the most accessible water feature you can buy: a self-contained pond system that needs no excavation, no permits, and often no permanent installation. Most kits ship as a complete unit: a pre-formed container (typically 30 to 200 gallons), a submersible pump, a basic filter or biological cartridge, and the plumbing to run it. Assemble it in an afternoon, fill it with water, and you have a working water garden by evening.

This category is built for spaces a traditional pond doesn't fit: apartment balconies, condo patios, small townhouse yards, sunrooms, and rental properties where digging isn't an option. The pond stays above ground in its container, so it can be moved seasonally, taken with you if you move, or shifted across the patio to chase shade.
