A burner pan is the base component of a drop-in gas fire pit: a stainless steel pan that holds the burner and the fire glass or lava rock on top of it, sized and shaped to drop into a fire pit or table enclosure you build or already own.
Pans come in round, square, and rectangular shapes, and in two styles: flat pans sit level with the surround material, while drop-in pans sit slightly recessed with a lip that rests on the enclosure's edge. Most ship with a Spark Ignition Tested (S.I.T.) system already installed.
Measure the opening of your fire pit or table before ordering. A pan that's too large won't fit the enclosure, and one that's too small leaves a visible gap around the edge.
