Use
No assembly and no clips. The cover lifts on and off by hand. At 16 gauge it is the heaviest stock in this range, which is why it weighs 10.5 lb against roughly half that for a thinner 18-gauge cover of similar area.
Maintenance
Wipe down with a damp cloth. 304 stainless resists corrosion in snow, sun and wind, but standing water and leaf tannins will still mark the surface if left for a season.
Important
This is a lid for use when the fire pit is off, not a spark screen. Do not place it over a burning fire.
