Professional-grade 45-mil EPDM membrane in a 10 by 25 foot sheet, covering 250 square feet. The long, narrow format in this range. Fish-safe, for koi and fish ponds, pondless waterfalls, and fountains.
This sheet and the 20' x 15' both cover roughly the same area, but the proportions differ. A 10 by 25 sheet suits a stream run or an elongated pond where a squarer sheet would waste material at the edges. If your excavation is wider than 10 feet at any point once depth is accounted for, take the 20' x 15' instead.
Measure length plus twice the maximum depth, and width plus twice the depth, then add roughly 2 feet in each direction for edge overlap. That overlap is not optional; it's what anchors the liner under the coping stone.
EPDM stretches into irregular contours without seaming, and 45 mil resists puncture from rock and gravel while remaining workable by hand. It resists solar UV, ozone, and oxidation, which is what a buried liner needs to survive two decades.
