Brass, not composite

Solid brass is the specification that separates professional-grade path lighting from the aluminum and plastic fixtures sold at big-box prices. Brass does not corrode through, and the antique bronze finish weathers rather than flaking. On a fixture that sits in irrigation spray and soil contact for years, this is the difference between replacing them and not.

Sealed against moisture and insects

Each fixture has a water-tight silicone-sealed wire exit. Insect ingress through the wire entry is a common failure mode on cheaper path lights and it's specifically addressed here.

Transformer required

These are low-voltage LVL fixtures requiring an Aquascape 12V transformer, sold separately. Total the wattage of all fixtures on the run before selecting one.

Heavy-duty mounting stake and a 3-foot lead wire with quick-connect fitting on each fixture.
